I simply give up. I can't even get into the darn queue.
And when you're wasting time trying to get in, you simply can't do anything else.

And I have way too much to do. I've hardly bought any of the items for this week and I've made a grand total of about 6000 credits the entire week. That will buy me jus a little more than 2 of the costumes available.

I got in and was able to get my Jolly roger pin. It does take a long time in the queue, and then a long wait for to trade with Phinny. But at least I was actually able to get through the line and get my pin without dc or having VMK crash.

well how wonderful that was. I wait for 1 hour to get in and get my pin and guess what?
I get in and freeze three places before getting the pin.
I hate trade events.
I will never get the full set now

I just cant even get in the queue. If anyone picks up a Leota, Zebra, or Jolly Roger they would be willing to trade, please let me know! I have ghost, churro, and other stuff too.

That's my problem. I don't have time to keep trying to get in.
If I could at least get into the queue, I could do other things, but I can't do anything else while trying to get into queue.

And I've tried to get in for more than an hour.

You people who got in are lucky. I had 'transylvania' in the search window searching it every 3 seconds before opening just like last week when I got in. When 11:31 rolled around there was still no room showing up. So I searched 'trade' and the queue was already full! I was so mad that I tried 3 more times, then exited VMK.

OMG, I cannot believe I finally got my pin! lol I got booted right after, but it was worth it! But 2 1 /2 hours was a bit long to get in!

I spent an hour trying to get my dd in, just as I was saying this is my last try, I got in. almost an hour later I got in the room, but there was traffic jam on the river for some reason, and I tried to click the end of the river and
I exited the room!!!!
Now it's not even on the map. They really need two hosts/staff in the SAME room trading us.

read the first post, it has the entire list of pins to trade, yes ghost is on there
in the room now, took 50 minutes to get in!

If you have a pin that sold for at least 500 credits or a host pin, they will not turn down your trade. That's the thing to remember before getting in the host line. Then, if and when you get in, you're set!

I have always used free or 25 credit pins in the past and never had a problem. I didn't read the I button for rules this time but I think someone said it had to be equal or better value. When I put up my Cinderella pin she just said in the trade window she doesn't accept those, so I put up a pretzel and she smile and said yes! Not like they boot you if you get it wrong first time, though I suppose they could if they get irritated enough. They were the ones taking anything for all of September, this is my first october trade event so I don't know when it changed, probably with the end of dc. I had better luck when there WAS dc for this event!
