If your ADR time is made during the official lunch period, but they seat you late and you are seated during the beginning of the dinner period, will they still allow you to order from the lunch menu? Specifically referring to Liberty Tree Tavern. I know that my kids will not eat anything from the dinner menu, but there are things that they like that are on the lunch a la carte menu.

According to the WDW web site, there's a 20 minute buffer between lunch and dinner. I imagine this gives them time to get all the lunch people seated and ordered before they transition to the folks with the dinner reservations. I've never been in this situation myself, but I would assume you could only order off the lunch menu if your ADR was during the lunch period, regardless of the time they seat you. What time is your reservation for?

my guess will be that if you are seated after dinner has started it will be only dinner. if my kids wouldn't eat from dinner menu I would not take a lunch Ressie with less than 45 minutes left just in case of this happening

If your reservation is during the lunch period, you will be ordering from the lunch menu. We frequently make our LTT reservation close to the end of the lunch service and regardless of when we are seated we are able to order from the lunch menu. Usually by then they are pretty much on schedule and we haven't had to wait more than a few minutes. Also, we made it a point to be on time or a few minutes early just in case they stop seating when the last reservation time passes.

Thanks! This is helpful. Our reservation time is for 2:40pm, so we are close to the end, but not the very last lunch reservation. And we usually check in a few minutes early, regardless.
