Transition from Halloween to Christmas?

Ok I've made up my mind. Going to check out the week after Thanksgiving. Going in the parks Monday through Thursday and not dealing with the weekend crowds. Hopefully crowds will be back to normal since 60th will be over.

We are planning to go that week too, and are hoping for manageable crowds! We've never been at Christmas time.

Speculation from CM and different sources that say low crowds on July 4th are due to block outs and high prices, are seriously making me want to just take a big chance and go on Thanksgiving. Anyone know what prices for dinner are? I saw 2015 menus and it looks like a bunch of different places offer slight variations, but turkey, mash and beans are all there.

Yes....I can't tell if you're being mean about it though.

No not at all. If I have learned one thing from my years on the DIS, it is that there are many different customs in different area of the US (and the world).

Funny (to me at least) it actually took me a minute to get to Green Beans. My first thought was beans? Beans? I have never heard of beans at Thanksgiving. We never even did the stero-typcial Green Bean cassarole at Thanksgiving. It was always Peas (which no one actually ate/liked). A few years ago it switched to broccoli which most of us actually eat.

Ok thanks for clarification. We kind of cook whatever we are in the mood for. I actually make a killer southern green bean recipe. You cook bacon and reserve a bit of the grease, add some seasonings and chicken broth, cook for a few hours and they are sooo tender and delicious. My family always argued over where to go on Thanksgiving, but since my mom moved to GA, I will either be forced to eat Paleo Thanksgiving at my sister in law's house, or we can come to Disney. Dinner at Ariels sounds good to me!!!
