hi there...3 questions:

1) Any indication besides Summer 2013 when Transformers will be open? Also what type of ride will it be??

2)Rip it rocket coaster..what type of coaster is this? Does it have a high speed launch & go upside down? Both things I hate..LOL

3) Has anyone done the dining package at Lombards that gets you the reserved seating for the night show? How is it? food? Seating location? Dessert buffet...is it worth it?

Thanks!!!1

1) Mid may rumors..As far as what kind of ride, It is pretty much identical to Spiderman at IOA but with Transformers.
2)Does not go upside down or launch, but has a steep incline
3)We did not do the pkg but ate at Lombards..It was meh..Food was ok, not bad /not good. Service not good .Very nice interior though

sometimes i have had good service and food at Lombards, other times not.

i find the place to be a hit or miss.

if you do the dining package, you will get a ticket to return for the viewing of the cinematic spectacular show.

don't wait until the last minute to go back there for the show as it can become crowded for the better seats.

it is a decent place for viewing the night time show but, there are other places that have good views also.

I was over at US on the 19th looking for the blimp. Stopped and talked to a tm thats assigned to the ride for a little bit. While I was there, I saw several people come and go from the bldg, walk through the lines etc. 1 of them stopped and shook his hand and said hi as he walked by. The tm I was talking to said that that was the ride vehicle designer. We talked for a little bit about the ride, and as far as he knew, there is nothing in the immediate future regarding soft openings. That could change any day though. He said typically the tms would guinea pig the ride because they are expendable (j/k) and he had not heard or seen anything yet on when they were going to do that. Another tm that came over and talked with us for a minute said basically the same thing.

25 mins to walk thru the queue..Thats a long walk

I can walk to and from PBH in that time, lol.

He probably should have said it is a 25 minute wait if you start at the beginning of the queue. If the wait is any longer, you'll be using the outdoor queue.

That makes much more sense..But a 25 min walk with no wait is CRAZY..LOL..I could spend 25 mins in the Forbidden journey queue easily though..

It should definitely have express pass .They were putting up the express pass signage last week

You are flat on your back and the launch feels like it takes about an hour because it's so stinkin' terrifying to be in that position, LOL.
