Transfers from MCO to Pt. Canaveral

I believe the first bus leave MCO at 9:30am.

For May we are using Disney bus after we arrive on Saturday - we arrive around 11:30 and by 12:45/1:00PM we get to the terminal.

Still not sure about August and October's cruise's though!

In my experience, the first bus has left MCO at around 10:00am. Check-in for the busses usually starts at 9:30am in the Hyatt lobby. We usually stay at the Hyatt and are usually on the first or second bus out. We usually get to the port just after 11:00am.

Could someone please tell me the difference between DCL transfers and the transfers you book through DCL that is on a Mear shuttle? From what I think I have figured out the DCL transfers are on a DCL motorcoach that cost more money then the Mears shuttle.

The Mears shuttle can be booked throught DCL but only costs about $30 per person.

1) Do they both pick up your luggage at the airport or do we have to handle it?
2) Do they unload the luggage and check it in at the port or do we still handle the luggage and pay the porters?

Can someone share with me how the bus transfer operation works from beginning to end?

Thanks
