transfers and land sea question

OK we are using the dcl transfers .
and the land sea package
when we get our docs do we tag our luggage before flying into orlando with tags provided by dcl?
or
do we not tag and pick up our own luggage then head to bus?
and
do we use dcl tags at resort to go to ship?

ok
tag everything before you leave your house with the dcl tags. check your luggage in at the airport. you will not have to touch it again until you unpack in the room. and the tags are for your WHOLE trip.

i thought i read once that if you tag before you leave home they will take you suit cases to the ship instead of resort .. thanks for clearing that up i am sure they must read the tags?

I thought I understood the luggage tags for the ship should NOT be put on to the luggage until AFTER you checked into the resort portion of your trip? I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that you are not supposed to have the cruise tags on when you get to the airport if you are doing the land portion first.

Can anyone clear up my confusion?? PLEASE!!!!

The last land/sea one I did was in 2000. And I still have all my docs. It says if you are checking into WDW resort the day you arrive between the hours of 9am and 5pm TAG your luggage prior to check in at your originating airport. If you are sailing the day you arrive between 9am and 1:30pm TAG your luggage before checking in at orig. airport.

I just got our docs last week for our 7 day Land/Sea. We leave May 6th and we are doing the land part first. Our docs say to TAG YOUR LUGGAGE before leaving home...period. Whether your doing sea or land first.
BUT, it does state that if your flight arrives anytime other than between the hours of 9-5. Then you must go to baggage claim and get your own bags and then go to the "mears" shuttle counter and use the coupon in yours docs for their service.
If your flight arrives between the hours of 9-5 you won't have to deal with getting your own bags...you just grab a tram to the main terminal and you will be met by a DCL rep.
