Transferring points?

I have 76 extra AKV points that I want to transfer, but I wanted to find out if transferring points is once per calander year or once per UY??

I'm new to DVC and have never transferred points so I wanted to make sure.

It is once per UY, in or out, but not both. Hope that helps.
