Transferring Hotels?

Hello,

On my next trip to WDW I'm staying at POFQ and then transferring to AKL DVC. I've never changed hotels mid trip before. How do I get from POFQ to AKL with all our stuff? I really have no idea but I'm sure someone here will have the answer.

When you check out, drop your stuff at bell services . Tell them you are transferring to a new hotel. They will take your information and transfer your luggage for you. Go enjoy your day. When you go to check in your luggage may be there. I say may because it doesn't usually show up until late afternoon. Collect your luggage and go to your room.

I've arranged with bell services to have our bags picked up in our room at the first resort in the morning. I then used WDW Transportation to drop by the second resort to check in (while my wife went to a park). When we were in our second resort room later in the day, I called bell services to have the bags brought up. Of course, a tip at both ends is customary.

Then again, tipping is also customary if you drag your bags to bell services at the lobby at your first resort and retrieve them from bell services at the lobby of your second resort, and then drag them to your new room.

It was incredibly convenient to have bell services come to our room at both resorts.
