I have tapes from three different types of video cameras and no longer have the cameras, long story, don't want to go there. :sad2: I'd love to have them transferred over to DVD but don't know where to go. Any reputable websites out there that anyone has used? Any idea of the cost? Thanks in advance! :)

I don't know about the cost since I haven't done this yet but our Shoprite will transfer video to DVD. Do you have one in your area with a photo shop?

Thanks Papa Deuce and CEDmom, I'm going to check into both! :)

We used software from somewhere, hooked up the VCR to the computer & did the transfering ourselves. I think I would've preferred to pay someone else to do it rather than do it ourselves again!

I think Ritz camera provides this service , might want to check there if you have one nearby..

Thanks tinatark, but it looks like she doesn't do 8mm, high 8, or digital tapes yet.
