Transferring a FastPass to Someone Else

I'm 99.99% sure this can't happen, but I figured I'd ask.

Monday/Tuesday evening, my 60-day window began and I was able to book three Anna and Elsa meet-and-greet FastPasses for October 31 (the last day of our visit).

We have another segment of our party arriving a day later, so they were able to start booking Fastpasses tonight. They were unable to snag the coveted Anna and Elsa FastPasses for any day of their trip.

I personally have no desire to see Anna and Elsa (sacrilege, I know) and neither do the other two people to whom I allocated the Anna/Elsa FastPassses. Is there a way to "transfer" these FastPasses to "Friends and Family" other than just all going into the park together and giving them our bands to use for the meet and greet?

Could I call Tech Services and say I made a mistake and meant to allocate them to so and so? (These other family members are currently not set up for me to book them FastPasses, so we'd have to do that if it came down to it.)

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about transferring them. When we were there in May I had a FP+ for A&E. I just switched bands with my nephew so he could take his daughter (under 3) in to meet them. That might be an option for you if there isn't a way to transfer them. Good luck!

i tried to do this exact same thing and no one one the phone or at guest services could help me, i gave my magic band away for the ride and i sat out.. kind of a bummer, wish paper fastpasses were still a thing!

I don't think you can transfer them so your options are:

1) Give them your band

2) Try to coordinate a cancellation with them. There is a FP+ cancellation thread here on the Dis and I know some people have been successful at booking right after one has been cancelled. There is always a risk someone else would scoop it up though.

I was able to "release" 2 spare A&E FP+ to another DISer by coordinating on the phone (approx 10:45AM) and it worked like a charm. The problem is, there is no guarantee with this method. I would think switching bands would be the easiest for your situation.

I would definately go with swapping bands over the cancel and grab method. I can see it now, you would cancel and the MDE system would go down for an hour while someone alse scoops up your A&E pass.

Yes.

I'll suggest something that might be even EASIER to do in this regard...
Stop at guest relations with a photo ID and have the CM issue you a plastic RFID ticket.

The ticket will be linked to your MDE account and can be used for (nearly)
everything for which your MagicBand is used.

If you want someone to use one of your FP+ reservations, just hand the ticket to that person and the ticket will activate the Mickey Head Reader at the FP+ entrance.

After use, the person can return your ticket to you.

No need to swap MagicBands.
