I have a prescription to fill, and I hate not being able to get a gift card or something for doing it. Anyone know where I can get a coupon for a transferred prescription. Walgreens, CVS, Target...we don't have a Rite Aid close at all.
If you can find a coupon for one of the other stores, CVS will honor it. I just transferred 2 from Rite Aide with their coupon and got a 50.00 gift card. I googled the stores to find a coupon.
I am a pharmacist for Target and the register has been giving out $20 coupons, you could try doing a few transactions and see if you get lucky enough to get one, not sure what triggers them. I can't remember if we have a new coupon coming out this Sunday.
Our CVS use to take the Rite Aid coupon for ALL scripts - refills, new or transferred. It was so nice to have them all at one place and still get the benefits of the Gift Card. Starting the first of this month - they changed it to follow the exact rules of the Rite Aid coupon - only on a transfer and 2 every six months. Bummer!
Try going into CVS and scanning your card in one of those coupon machines for the CVS cards (the ones with the flashing light on top) and see if it will give you one. I've done that twice in the last month or so and gotten two, both for a $25 gift card with a new or transferred RX.
