Transferred points - 7 Month Window

Good Morning,

My boss is transferring me points to book Old Key West for September 2023 with his early booking window. When we get to 7 months out, if we want to try to switch it to another resort and use our own points to pay the difference, do we need to call MS or can I just do it online?

We have different use years.

With different UY you will need to call.

You will be able to modify the trip at 7 months or less online once the points are in your UY.

Just remember that the points you want to use all have to be good for the trip

The transferred points will show up when you go to book..have to call to use home resort advantage..and then you will choose it to be used with your own points.

Also, the system will use any of your own banked and borrowed points first before using the transferred points when booking.

Only at 11 months. Once you are at 7 months, since the transferred points are now in your own membership they can be used together.

They still retain their own terms but as long as the trip is in an overlapping time for both it works.

For example I have June UY points in my Dec UY and had no problem using them for a Feb and March trip with my own Dec UY points.
