Transfering pics from card to CD at WDW?

They use to offer this service somewhere at the parks, but I'm not sure where or even if they still do:confused3 . If you are just in need of more storage space for your images memory cards have become very cheap recently. Online vendors like newegg.com have great deals on cards!

They used to do this at the photo shop on Main St at MK and at the photo shop at Disney studios. The last time I did this (Aug 06), it cost $13 for each cd. It also cost me some very valuable park time as the machines where archaic and it took forever to upload the photos. I would suggest buying more memory before relying on this service.

Anywhere to do this conviently other than taking a laptop?

I'd also recommend either buying or borrowing more memory cards. The CD kiosks are expensive, slow and limited in size.

I dont know about you, but I've pretty much stopped archiving photos on CD and have moved to DVD. CD's were fine back in the 1 megapixel days but modern cameras produce huge files that exhaust a CD's space much more quickly.

Another option is a portable hard drive which transfers memory cards. Far easier than a laptop and it fits nicely in the hotel safe. They range in price from around $100 to several hundred for the fancy ones that have full color screens. I found a discontinued model with a good sized hard drive made by Jobo at my local camera store for $60:
