- into the new media... If you need this done (my tickets are REALLY old (about 15 years) can this be done at the Transportation and Ticket Center or ONLY at one of the 4 parks? Thanks.

PS. By the way, does anyone know if you won't be needing the tickets on the current trip, how does it work?

1. Yes.
2. You can transfer to a new plastic RFID ticket, if you like, or have the old ticket moved directly into your MyDisneyExperience account.

I have a question about this too! If they put my old tickets into MDE, do I need to do anything else? or will the tickets be linked to my magic bands I had from a different trip?

Any MB (old or new) that you own will automatically link to any ticket (old or new) that is under your name in your MDX account.

1. Yes.

Thanks! By the way, I don't go to Disney every year, so when you say "moved directly into your MyDisneyExperience account." Does that 'account' just stay like that for years and years and the ticket stay 'alive' until you need it again? Or would I be better off with the 'plastic' ticket (whatever that is)? The whole thing is that I will probably need to activate those tickets in the future a month or 2 before our next visit so we can plan fastpasses etc... Thx again!

1. Yes.
2. It's a regular WDW ticket, a plastic "credit card" that can be used at a park gate.
I don't think you'd necessarily be "better off" one way or the other.
It's just a choice you can make.
3. Yup. You could use the numbers on that plastic ticket to put into your MDX account at any time you like.
But, you could just choose to put the old ticket directly into your MDX account and bypass the
"plastic ticket" stage altogether.
Doesn't matter.
