Transfer to CDG.

Hello all,
Only three sleeps until we leave to got to DLP for my son's fourth birthday.
Anyway can i just ask a quick question. i have booked a taxi with Eurominibus to pick us up at CDG and then pick us up from Santa Fe on the way home, but i have booked the return for 2.15pm and the check in for my flight opens at 2.45pm. Am i cutting it fine do you think? Does it take long..is the trip to CDG traffic laden?
My colleague missed check in once when coming from DLP and had to pay £500 to get home, so paranoia is setting in a bit now.
Also just wanted to let you know what i have planned for his big day, sunday!
I have booked a birthday tea at the plaza gardens for 3.30pm, i know its at parade time but thought we could catch the parade on the next day. Then i've booked to Cafe Mickey for 7pm. He's a big Peter Pan fan and thought that meeting the dreaded Hook maybe the next best thing to the Pan himself.
Any other tips to make his day extra special?
I did phone the Santa Fe to see if they could put balloons etc in our room (as recommended by one of you kind people) but they said they did not offer that service.
But hey ho, he'll be bowled over anyway.
By the way, do they do cuddly Peter Pan's at the shops over there? We are going to buy him his bday pressie on the saturday of arrival and give it to him in the morning.

1/2 hour for transfer back to CDG I'd think was cutting it fine, but then I check-in 1 1/2 hrs for internal flights that you can leave till 20 mins

If you've got half an hour to get to CDG before check-in opens, then you'll be absolutely fine. The journey takes about half an hour, and you don't have to wait for any pick ups or drop offs with a taxi.

Thanks for your replies guys. it is half hour before it opens so i should be ok i reckon. even if there is some traffic say half an hour delay i should still get there in time. hopefully he'll have a faby time. we are both counting how many sleeps. getting a bit sad now.

sounds your son will have a fab birthday. we took our daughter last year to celebrate her 4th birthday and it was magical. we did the brithday cake at cafe mickey om the day of her birthday and she was dancing with eyore and the rest of them and they made a real fuss of her. it bought tears to my eyes when they all bought out her birthday cake singing to her. they made a real fuss of all of us and spent about half an hour just with us getting me and her dad and grandparents up to dance. it was very special.

shame the santa fe dont do balloons in the room as we asked for this at the newport bay and they agreed to do it - just a little personal touch.
