Transfer questions regarding UY and banking

I will be needing a 2019 point transfer from a Copper Creek owner in the future. My Copper Creek contract has an April UY so I should ask for someone with that UY as well, correct? We’re going December 2020 and my thought was to grab 2019 points and bank them so I’ll be ready to go at 11 months for booking. Does this seem like the best course of action? Open to tips. Thank you.

Just remember, any transfer points can only be used by phone. Puts you an hour behind, so depending what you want there may still be issues.

But if the UY and resort match your contract, you should be able to see them online. If they don't match, you wind up calling MS like Aurora states above.

You could always use your own points to book online and then use the transferred points to add to the reservation by phone.

Thanks for your help! If I book with my own points online that can only be done with the amount of points I have in my contract right? We won’t have enough points for the duration we need so that’s why I need a transfer. I forgot transfers can only be booked by phone

We were going to get a 2bd and a studio for this trip. My in laws and my parents are coming with my husband, Myself and our two littles. I was hoping for a transfer to make this happen. I have enough of my own points if we did 3 studios, but obtaining 3 studios in early December scares me lol

You are in a very tight situation. Might be extremely difficult to get what you need. Book that studio first of all. You may even have to walk that one.
