Transfer question?

I want to put white letters on a charcoal shirt do I use light or dark transfer paper. I just want the letters no border or background.

You would need to use a dark transfer. If you do not want any kind of background - there are two ways to do this. Make the background of your design the same charcoal color of the shirt or cut out each individual letter.
