transfer question

Ok, just when I thought I had this figured out, I am even more confused. I plan on renting (having some transfer points to me) for my Dec 2008 trip to VWL. I own at VWL and hope to rent VWL points. Now VWL is an add-on to my main ownership so I know I will have to make sure they transfer right. Here is my question, how do I get the right points to make sure everything goes ok? My use year is December, but I will have to make reservations in January (my 2007 use year). Can you transfer points to your next use year? MS already told me I can't bank transfered points... I'm sorry that this question sounds so confusing (much like my current state)

That's not correct. You can bank transfered points. You can't transfer banked points. Maybe you misunderstood them?

The main thing you already understand. Make sure that the transfer goes into the proper contract. If not, the points may "morph" into points from another resort.
