Transfer Question

Can MS reallocate the points used on an existing reservation if I had some points transferred into my account that expire next month? I have two current res for Oct and Nov.

This would allow me to bank my current year points into 07.

you won't know until you call and ask

but yes generally this is not a problem -

the only problem would be if your resort is sold out on one of the nights you need to change - then they can't because your reservations would have to be cancelled and make new ones - so if the resort was sold out then your cancelled reservation could go to someone on the waiting list - instead of back to you.

MS won't do it if this could happen

I called MS. They will do the reallocation on the one reservation in Nov since it was made at the 7 month window. It sounds like if it's a reservation made within the 11 month window then it depends on availability.

probably your resort in Oct is sold out for your nights. You don't want to lose that reservation - right?

You're probably right. I don't want to lose either one of the Oct/Nov reservations, but for some reason the VB one was OK.
