Transfer points to self to reallocate

Transfer and reallocation of points question.

I have a 2 night reservation in Nov made at the 7 month mark for a non home resort. Those points are still bankable through Oct 31.

I'm waiting on points to load in the next week on another resale contract that we just closed on with a different use year.

My question is can I transfer points from the newest contract once they load to my other contract then reallocate the those points for the 2 day November reservation. That would free up those points to be banked.

Yes, as long as the new points can be transferred and work for the November trip.

Since they retain their own UY, you just want to be sure it doesn’t require borrowing in order to use for the trip as transferred points can’t be borrowed back for a trip.
