Hello!
I made transfer designs for my family for our Disney trip back in June, and I followed the transfer instructions, but the paper scorched and the shirt scorched too. It said to use the highest heat on my iron. I thought it was just the paper and not the shirt being discolored, but I was mistaken.
Can I use a lower setting, or just not use the iron as long and have it work?

I don't have a clue. We are just trying it out for the first time ourself. I just noticed it had been a few days and thought I'd give your question a bump. Welcome to the Disboards!
I am not an expert by any means but I would think that the higher heat setting would be important to get it hot enough to adhere. I've only done a couple dozen myself. I was concerned about overironing because I didn't think the instructions were clear enough on exactly how long to iron. I iron it for about 1/2 the time and see how it is doing. If it isn't adhering well, I iron it longer. That has worked very well for me so far. Good luck with your next try!
