Transfer of points question

I have 11 points in holding that expire in April.

Is it possible for me to transfer those points into my moms DVC account, she has a later UY, I want to say December but I am not really sure. She just bought her contract December 2006.

If I do transfer them into her account do they change from my April UY to her UY? So they could be banked?

I am very confused, I read in one place that holding points can't be transferred. Then read elsewhere that they can.

Even if you could transfer points in a holding account (and you can't), you still wouldn't be able to extend their life by transfering into another members account.

They maintain their use year and resort. If you transfer them to your mom, they will still expire at the end of March. You are past your banking deadlines.
