transfer of luggage between 2 resorts during vacation

Well as luck would have it, nothing is available between Dec. 4th and Dec. 13th at any vacation club resorts (SSR preferred) so we might have to stay at a value resort for a couple of days and then move to SSR on the 8th (which according to the available thread may be available).

We'l be flying in so we won't have a car... how can we move between resorts and have our luggaged moved as well? Any thoughts?

Also... if you know anyone with a studio room at SSR during Dec. 6th and 7th, please have them cancel haha j/k worth a shot

I've changed resorts a few times, and Disney has done a good job of getting our bags to the new resort without a hitch. I've gone from Pop to DVC resorts and also switching from one DVC resort to another. I asked at the Bell desk what time to have my things at the Bell desk for transfer and I've often brought the bags down myself, rather than wait for pick up. On the receiving end, I wait until I'm in my room, and then call and bags have been delivered within very reasonable time frames.

I hope you get what you really want, but transferring luggage hasn't been a problem for me.

Bell services will transfer your luggage for you. You will need to be in the room for both pick-up and delivery. Your luggage will not be available at the new resort until 3 or 4 pm.

Last time we switched resorts, we took a cab to our new resort, checked in & left luggage w/bell services. Headed to park for the day & when we came back, our room was ready & we collected our luggage from bell services. I found this to be very easy. Good luck & have a great vacation.

This is how we do it. The cab is great, we always leave for the new resort at 9am and check in right away, if the room is ready we have our luggage, if not leave it with bell services and head to the parks.
