Transfer & borrowing??

As the designated planner I will be making the reservations for our trip in Feb of 09. My in-laws who are alos DVC members will be coming with us . They were going to transfer half the points needed fro a 2bdrm to my acct. so I can make the reservation. I will be a few points short and will need to borrow. Can I do that if points have been transfered into my account? TIA

Yes banking and borrowing points is not effected by transfer rules AFAIK

Are their points at the same resort as yours? They will retain their home resort and use year when they are transferred. So if they are a different home resort than yours, you won't be able to use them at 11 months out for a reservation at your home resort.

Same resort and use year, so that shouldn't be a problem.
