transfer 400 points

I have a friend who wants to transfer 400 points into my account. She would charge ten a point. Is it worth doing? We have been borrowing a little bit lately and I'm sure we would use the points ourselves or rent them to family/friends. Is it worth the $4000?

You can only have one transfer (in or out) per year, so you could not transfer them again to someone else. You could make reservations with them and rent those out, however.

Most likely, you would not make any/much money on the reservation deals, however. So much work for the same (or less) money.

Good point. My sister in law usually rents from us, but I am a little points poor right now and will have to say no in a few months. It would be easier to direct her to dvcrequest though wouldn't it.
