FYI for anyone in the central Virginia area. I was able to get the air tran deal through Richmond airport. We got round trip tickets nonstop. leave on 8/14 at 11am. Return flight leaves orlando on 8/24 at 3pm. Price was 119 per person plus 28 dollars tax for a total of 147. This is great as we were planning to drive. Now I can take less vacation days and not be all tired from the driving!! :woohoo:

John

Thank you for posting. I have been scanning this thread so long that my neck is hurting in search of someone from Virginia that might post about a flight out of Richmond. Did you do this through Air Tran or through Disney?

It's nice to know that there are other Virginians that are under the Disney grasp!

HUGE HEADSUP!!!

I was booking my DH for our September trip (he decided to go after all, along with my cousin) and decided since they would fly out of Dulles that I should try to take advantage of the $129 air special. The schedule worked great for them etc.

BTW, I am going to go out of Baltimore with my sister and friends as planned, and we are waiting for SW fares.

Anyhow, I could get them the $129, but went to Airtran website just to check to see if they had a better flight going down. Turned out that they had the SAME flights, $20 cheaper. I paid $108 Round Trip!!!!!

SO< check the site FIRST before booking through Disney!!!

What is Disney "CRO" ??? Anyway ..the cheapest I can get a flight for is $260 RT on Airtrans website,... I also cannot check on anything to do with my ressies because I booked through AAA...SO my travel agent has to change /add to our plan.. This stinks !!!!! :confused3

Amy~ Trying to get the best deal isnt made easy !!! :badpc:

Has anyone been able to take advantage of this offer from Pa, Ny ,Nj areas ? Do you have to make connecting flights ? TIA
aMY :stir:

I was able to get Nonstops from PHL to MCO in August for $157 RT total with tax included through CRO

The offer is very real. I have booked TEN trips with the Dining special and most got the airfare....from Dulles and it ws $129, plus taxes, so $147.10 per person and they were non stop flights. The one September trip though (my DH) was actually cheaper on the website. The others (August trips) were MUCH higher on the website, so the Disney special was awesome!

If the special air must be booked with a package, what are the cancellation policies? I've book room only in the past with CRO.

Thanks!

The cancellation policy is the same as it would be if you booked it directly with Airtran. You would lose $50 per person if you cancel, but the remainder will be a credit for future use. If you get the insurance though, it will be covered if you have a covered reason for cancelling

I've never book air through disney. Do they send me paper tickets or a electronic confirmation number that is specific for the airline tickets so I can check in online. When I originally asked for a confirmation number they said it was the same as my package confirmation. Anyone knowledgeable about this?

Now, that I do not know jjjbennett, but I need to find out. I will report back when I do!
