Traitor alert

Hey guys – I just thought I’d check in ’cause I’m feeling like a traitor. Many of you know how much I love the Fort and my beloved cabins, having stayed there for our last four trips. But now, I’m planning a trip for Memorial Day 2011 and we’re going to try something different. I’m renting points to stay at BLT. It was just the right opportunity at the right time to try something different, but I’m obviously crazy enough to feel compelled to check in with y’all and let you know what I’m doing.

Having said all that, I’ll definitely be back at FW no later than Spring Break 2012 with our big extended family again, so I’m hoping y’all will let me back on the boards when I get to planning for that trip.

Now, just so y’all know how much I love being a Fiend, I’m giving you this. I saw this picture on a DVC board (I’m blocking out faces since they aren't my kids) and couldn't help but think that these Chip and Dale look like they are wearing lime green thongs around their necks. (Anyone see Raising Arizona? “Son, you got a panty on your head” came immediately to mind.)

Anyway, I’m sure I’ll be popping in and out but I just thought I’d touch base. I love you guys more than y’all might think a periodic poster and trip reporter would.

Hey, sounds awesome to me! Hope you enjoy your stay at BLT.

But I bet you take the boat over to the Fort during your stay....it's hard to be that close and not at least come over to walk around a bit and take in the ambience of the TE porch.

No they are just wearing Green Thongs, they are just showing us they are part of the Fort Fiends, I am sure u will see the thongs on their clothline

How about you host a party at BLT?

Down by the pool, they have a cool BBQ pavilion.

Us Fiends could put on our clean overalls, grab our liquor and hop the boat over to the Contemporary.

Them DVC folks will love us.

I think this is a great idea for a trip.

BLT is super nice.

It has a great location, and it's just a boat ride away from the Fort.
