I can barely get out of Barnes and Noble! At least we'll be able to really spend quality time in England!

I was disappointed that the Steam Train tour requires participants to be 10. Anyone know why? I'm guessing safety. But, sounds like there will be plenty of trains to suit us.

I'm right there with ya on this one! My 4 year old is a train fanatic. On our last trip we wanted to watch Illuminations, he wanted to keep watching the train set up outside of (I think) Germany. :teeth: We watched that thing for a good 15 minutes and he still wasn't ready to leave.

I made the mistake of telling DH about the steam train tour and DS heard us and is begging to do it. I hadn't realized at the time that you had to be 10. He is QUITE disappointed. :(

I love your tag. I have a dd7 who wants to be a princessprincess: I, of course, made it worse and let her see the Princess Diaries.

I like trains better!!!! AND pirates.

Enjoy your boys. They're STILL probably 'quicker' at WDW than dds. No princess lines!!

DS is almost 5 and his favorite place in EPCOT is watching those trains. DH and I get a good 1/2 hour-45 minute break while he chases them around.

Anyway....for those young train fans......ask the conductor on the railroad in MK if your child can be a "conductor for the day". We didn't know about this until a conductor ask DS when he was 4 if he wanted to do this. He got to stand in the back of the train with her, annouce All Aboard on the mike and press all the buttons to start the soundtrack. At the end of the ride, he got a small certificate with his name on it. He loved it!

OHHH! thanks for that tip! He would love that! He thinks riding in the front cab of the monorail is a big thrill as well. He tells everyone he wants to be a monorail driver when he grows up. :sgrin
