It's on at 8:00. Is it any good?

Is that the one with Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington? If so then I thought it was pretty dumb. Slow and uninteresting in parts, and just plain annoying in others. It didn't feel believable with Denzel Washington in the part of a bad guy!

I hated that movie. My sister (the cop) really liked it. I'm a "fluff" kind of movie watcher, only happy endings for me

I'm an action kind of guy and I liked it. I agree the story is a little thin but I think Denzel did a great job as the bad guy!

I really liked Training Day. It was a bit more violent than I like my movies to be, but I still enjoyed it. I thought Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke were both fantastic in it.

Just as an aside, I met Ethan Hawke twice since Training Day came out (once at a theatre where he was in a play, and once at a book reading). The first time I met him, I was so excited, I was walking down 42nd Street in New York talking to my friend Abbi on the phone, rambling on and on about how I met Ethan Hawke, and who is walking behind us but Ethan himself. He probably thought I was nuts!
