Can someone point me in the right direction of the train timetables please?

From disney into the city. Do they trains run early in the morning and how long is the journey? Id like to try and get into paris for 9-10ish in the morning:)

I think there's an RER train every 10 minutes or so, so you probably don't need a timetable. It takes about 40 minutes to get to central Paris and I don't know what time trains start but I'm sure there will be one that would get you to Paris by 9.

They start running around 5.20 am and it takes 40 minutes to Chatelet-Les Halles.

You've got one every 10-15 minutes on average.

I'd avoid rush hour if I was you as it can get pretty nightmarish.

RER A has over 1.6 million people travelling on it everyday and at peak times it feels like they are all in your carriage

See if these work for you if not you'll have to note them down at the station

Going out from MLV to Paris - weekdays

Thanks Carrie, the links worked ok, there so frequent i dont need to worry, if we miss one the next is only a few minutes away.
What time would u suggest leaving Disney? Is the Chatelet-Les Halles station a walkable distance to Eiffel? We dont mind a nice stroll seeing the sights but as long as its not going to take hours. We are visiting the Eiffel Tower and all the advanced tickets are sold out for our dates so we want to get there early. Were also doing the boat tour which departs at Eiffel too:)

If you are going to the ET stay on the RER until Charles de Gaulle-Etoile and then change on metro line 6 (Nation via Denfert Rochereau) get off at Trocadero (3 stop) and cross the river. You will get amazing views of the ET from the Esplande at Trocadero :thumbsup2

Rush hour starts around 7.30/7.45 and is over by 9.30.

Here's an example of rush hour in the metro - this was my line for over 2 years :crazy2:

One other question if you dont mind:rotfl2: what ticket type would be best for us. Party of 8, 4ad, 3ch, 1 infant. We will be making just the one return trip into the city. A Paris Visite?

I'd get a Mobilis zone 1-5 for 15.65€ for anyone aged 10 and over.

This gives you unlimited 1 day travel on all RER/Metro/Bus.

A Paris visite adult is 22.20€ so it's a nice saving ;)

For the 4 - 9 age group easiest 1 day travel card would be a Paris Visite at 11.10€.

You could do it cheaper with 2 Origin Destination tickets at 3.65€ each plus buy a carnet of 10 ticket t (half price is 6.65€) and share them out between the ch. It all depends how old the 3 ch are and if you want to have 1 pass pp or some with a pass and some with tickets ?

The under 4's travel for free. :goodvibes

oohh thank you, didnt see any info on a Mobilis ticket, save a bit, thanks.

Kids are 7,6,5, and 1. Can you buy child Mobilis tickets, if not i'll buy them a Paris Visite. :cheer2:

No only exists for adults that why I'm thinking Paris Visite for the ch :)

It might not be as cheap as other ways but at least it's convient.

You can buy them all in advance at the station and just remember to write the date on them once you decide and start your travels :thumbsup2
