Train station to ASMo?

How do I get my mother and her friend from the train station in Orlando to ASMo? My Dd and I will be flying in later the same day and planned on taking a towncar from MCO. Can she do the same or would it just be cheaper to rent a car for all of us?

If your renting a car anyway there is a Hertz rent a car at the Amtrak station in Orlando. I would call ahead of time to make all the arrangements.

If your not going to use a rental for the rest of your trip it would be cheaper to make town car arrangements. All the town car company's that pick up from the airport also pick up from Amtrak.
Your Mom also wouldn't have to worry about driving back to Orlando later in the day to pick you up.

We always take the train and round trip into WDW is about $85.

Is Sanford the name of the Orlando train station? I keep seeing that on some towncar websites and am not sure if it's that or another airport.

Sanford is the site of the "AutoTrain" station. I believe there is also a regular train station there, but Sanford is about a 45 minute to an hour drive from WDW. There is a "regular" AMTRAK station in Orlando. There is also a train station in Kissimee.

The two Amtrak stations for Disney and Orlando-area attractions are sligh street in downtown Orlando (ORL), or Kissimmee (KIS). The terminal in Kissimmee is somewhat closer to WDW than Orlando.

Winter Park and Sanford are to the North of Orlando. Sanford (SFA) is the Auto-Train station; Sanford (SFD) is everything else. They are in fact two seperate, though adjacent, stations.

I'm taking Amtrak to Disney this year. I called American Coachlines (used to be Coach USA) and was told that their shuttles/coaches are there to meet every train. Just pay the attendant/driver $20 and they will take you to your hotel. It makes several stops to different hotels along the way. I'll be going to Pop Century. Hope this helps!
