I'm travelling to DLP in a few weeks and am currently looking at transfer options between CDG and DLP. I've looked at the train times and I only have 30 mins between my arrival time and the direct train. Should I take the risk and book it? Does it cost more to buy tickets at the station? Can I buy tickets on the train?

All help greatly appreciated.

honestly with that short window, I would not risk it. Arrival time is actually wheels down time, and there is usually 10 to 15 mins approx between wheels down and the time you actually leave the plane. Then you have to walk from the plane through to passport inspection and then onto baggage claim, which could take another 20 minutes.

Then depending on your arrival terminal, it could another 20 minutes approx to get to the train station.

If you really want to take the train, then you should be looking at times about 60 to 70 minutes after your landing time.

The other option is the Magic Shuttle http://magicalshuttle.co.uk/ with that you dont have a specific time, you just get on the next available bus. I have used this twice and I have booked it for my trip in February. The journey time is approx 1 hour and you get direct to your Disney onsite hotel

if there is more than one of you in your party, you might be cheaper and quicker booking a shared shuttle transfer in advance with rstransports for the journey between CDG and DLP. If the times (and price) of the TGV suit you for the return journey, you can book one way.

It's the same price to buy tickets in advance or at the station - ticket prices are dependant on wether they are peak or none peak

The ticket office stops selling tickets 10 minutes before a trains departure and you can buy them on the train as I did last time we used it in November
land until 9.35 - We had to go through passport control, collect our bags and reach the station but we were close to it and know where we are going

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I'll play it by ear and if the stars align catch the train, otherwise jump on the magical express. Good to know you can buy tickets on the train too!

Carrie can you just confirm that- you can buy TGV tickets on board? I never knew that!

Well we did on the 17th of Nov without paying any extra or anything - when we got on board I went up to the ticket inspectors and asked them for tickets to MLV as we hadn't had time to buy them at the station and she sold me 2 at 18.50€ each (same price as at the station ticket office) and that was that :)

So I'm presuming that everybody can if they need to as well all know how they love being difficult when they can be in France and she never said that I shouldn't be buying them on the train or told me that next time there would be a surcharge or a fine :confused3

It took me 90 minutes to get through passport control on Sunday so personally I wouldn't book in advance.
