I just made an ADR for a week from Wed for Trails Side for dinner. I am really exctied; for some reason I have always wanted to eat here.

Anyone eat there recently - how was it?

TIA :thumbsup2

I've never heard of Trail's Side? Where is it? Did you mean Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness?

it is just basic all american comfort food buffet. Ribs, fried chicken, chili, peel and eat shrimp, pizza for the kids, sweet tea, that sort of stuff. It is old school disney world, with the playground for the kids outside and pony rides/ small petting zoo just down the corner. We love it. But it isn't anything fancy. It is like summer camp. By no means elegant or anything.

I'd like to hear what others think as well...My BIL and SIL eat there for EVERY Disney vacation. i can't figure out if it's just because of the low price or if the food is actually good. They are not picky at all. We'd like to eat there this time we go and I've heard some good things about it-

That sounds *PERFECT* for us. I think we will all love it! Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

5 more days!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! :cool1:

The fried chicken and ribs are the same as at the HDDR! TE is a great way to experience a meal Ft. Wilderness without paying huge $$$ for HDDR or the backyard BBQ. And they usually have (fairly) last minute ADRs available!

Enjoy!

You are right about that. I just realized last week that DD11 had really hoped to go to Chef Mickeys again this trip. Wednesday 1/23 is the only day we could do it and when I called the first ADR they had for a family of 5 was 9:00pm! Too late for us. So I asked everyone if they wanted to try Trails End. I called Saturday and was able to get 4:30 (we wanted as early as possible).
