Trails End

I just booked a reservation for Trails End at Fort Wilderness. Does anyone know if we can park close by or do we have to park further away and take a FW internal bus?

If you are driving or arriving from Epcot, AK, DHS or DTD, then you will arrive at the Outpost area of the Fort. This is the only parking for non Fort guests. From your car, walk to the bus depot near the horse stable, board ANY bus to SETTLEMENT, the ride can be as short as 5 min as long as 15, it just depends on how full the bus is and if people are waiting to be picked up at other stops along the way. When you reach SETTLEMENT, it is a very short walk to TE. When you are ready to head back to your car, simply reverse the bus route and board any bus to OUTPOST.

If you are at MK and headed to TE, you simply need to board the FW boat, the boat from MK to FW does not stop anywhere else along the way and the boat dock is about the same distance from TE as the bus stop at Settlement is. Returning to any Disney resort after dinner I would take the boat to MK and transfer there(assuming MK is open)
