Nothing direct.

You can take the campground's internal shuttle bus to either the Outpost or WL, and transfer there to a bus to DS.

Alternatively, you can take the boat to either CR or WL and get the bus to DS there.

Travel time could be up to an hour, including the wait for the shuttle bus and the 2nd bus to DS. If you're traveling before 11:30am, buses to DS may stop at TL on the way, which could add another 15 minutes.

What about uber? Can they pick up at teails end restaurant

There is no parking at Trails End except for the Disney Internal Buses. There are several options: Boat to Magic Kingdom and take a bus to DS. Boat to Contemporary and take a bus to DS. Boat to Wilderness Lodge and then bus to Disney Springs, or lastly, take the internal bus at Trails End up to the main entrance, and catch the direct bus to DS. I am not aware if Uber is allowed inside resorts. Someone else will have to chip in here. If they are, I am guessing they are not allowed to drive you down to Trails End. Like taxis, they pick up and drop off at the Outpost.

You would first have to take the internal shuttle to either the Outpost or WL.

The Outpost is at the opposite end of the campground. It's where Guest check-in, parking, and the bus depot is located, and also where Uber would pick up.

Bus ride to WL is less than 5 minutes. Bus ride to the Outpost is 10-15 minutes, but the buses run more frequently, and it's quite a bit closer to DS than is WL.

So you would suggest taking an internal bus from Trails End to the Outpost and a bus from there to DS? as the quickest way to DS after breakfast?

I would take the internal bus to Outpost and catch bus there for DS as the bus to WL and catch DS bus there will probably be stopping t the Outpost after leaving WL as the Lodge and the fort do share buses. Uber would not be a good choice as you would have to get to Outpost to meet the driver as no car/taxi parking at Trails End

I consider this "direct". The internal bus is just the way to get around the resort easily.

Fort Wilderness is the closest resort to Disney Springs of all the options listed, btw, so will be the quickest ride. It's literally a left out of FW, a right at the light, past the Port Orleans' and OKW, a left at the corner, and ride down Buena Vista to the Disney Springs bus stop. If traffic isn't killer, it's about a 15 minute ride. But traffic can add a half hour onto that trip in the evening.

Only Epcot buses are shared between the 2 now. FtW does not share for the other parks or DS. WL shares with CR, buses usually stopping at CR first in the a.m., and at WL first after 11:30am.

I agree that Outpost would probably be faster on average, but just by a few minutes.
