Trails End on the 4th?

Having trouble with the search engine for some reason. Would someone tell me about their experience with Trail's End? We are not wanting to do the parks on the 4th of July. Instead we thought of renting canoes in the afternoon at F.W. and on our return have dinner at the Trails End buffet for ribs & fried chicken! Better options? Besides my DH, our party will all be older kids (3 are 21 and 1 is 17).

We really like Trails End. Not sure how it compares now with DDP but it used to be one of the cheapests buffetts on property.

Seems less crowed and we felt no pressure to move on quickly.

Only downpoint is that it is small. Food was typical buffett but all of it was hot and fresh.

We would eat there again.
