does typhoon lagoon have buses running direct to the resorts? or do we need to switch a major park?
after dinner hop on the boat and take bus to Pop from MK?

Yes, the busses run between TL and the resorts. Depending on the time, you may end up going to DTD first.

If MK is still open, yes that would be the bestway to get back to POP.

From Typhoon Lagoon, go to bus stop #4. Board whichever bus comes first, the Fort Wilderness bus, or the Wilderness Lodge/Grand Floridian bus.

If you board the Fort Wilderness bus, it will drop you off at the Outpost Depot. From there, you need to take an internal bus to get to Pioneer Hall. Any bus marked "Settlement" will work.

If you board the Wilderness Lodge bus, get off at the Lodge. Then wait at stop #1 for the bus marked "Fort Wilderness" and take it to its first stop, which is the Settlement Depot.

Both these methods will take the same amount of time, so just hop on the first one. Most people don't think about taking the WL bus, but since both ways require the transfer to the internal, both work out to be the same amount of time. The internals run about every 10-12 minutes.

From Pioneer Hall (Trails End) you can take a boat to the MK and then catch the bus to Pop.
