Hey all - I found the thread from June talking about the DDP options from Trail's End after 4:30 PM and at the Meadows Pool for lunchtime, but was just wondering from any recent visitors if they had any breakfast options at Trail's End for CS on the DDP? We usually cook or eat at the campsite but it would be nice to have a quick option if needed. Thanks!

Have not seen one yet.

However, the Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge is a short boat ride away. The boat starts at 6:45 am. It is quite easy to boat over to one of those resorts and get a quick breakfast. If you go early enough you still have time to take transportation to a park and make rope drop.

I thought that TCD had posted a pic of TE menu in one of his last trip reports showing that they had brought back take out for breakfast.

I thought that it had some DP options, although I could be mistaken.

I guess I have to post my blurry photo of the Trail's End breakfast take out menu again.

Before April, 2009, there was a very limited take-out menu for breakfast. Basically it was two items: muffins or cinnamon buns.

Then, in April 2009, there was no take-out for breakfast at Trail's End.

None.

Nothing.

Here's the sign that says so:

But, lately (as in since April or so of this year), they have brought back the muffins and cinnamon buns.

And, this sign is back in use:

I told you it was blurry.

I believe the symbols next to the prices mean that you can use DDP snack credits here.

But, that's all they have for take out for breakfast.

I guess it's better than nothing.

This was the state of things at breakfast time as of earlier this month.

If we want breakfast, do we need to make a reservation, or just show up at 7:30? I've been trying to make a ressie at tusker house in AK in October...and they're booked, but we'll probably want breakfast.....so Trails End may be our only hope!!!

Will you be there during the "free" dining promotion (most of October is covered by this promotion)?

How many are in your party?

Do you intend to visit on a weekend morning, or a weekday morning?

All of these questions factor into whether or not you should make an ADR (reservation).

If it is during free dining, or you have a large party (more than 4), or if you are visiting on Saturday or Sunday morning, you should make an ADR.

Unfortunately, it is hard to get into any sit-down restaurant at WDW during the "free" dining promotion without an ADR.

Thanks TCD!! There's 5 of us, the first weekend, and yes, a sunday morning. I'll make an ADR!!
