Being a bit picky on good bbq. And knowing how Disney tends to buy lowing end quality food and selling it as high-end. I kinda have an idea how what the food will be like, how is the selection and variety and is this a restaurant that needs a ADR. we will be there for free dining in Sept. Any comments would be appreciated.

i heard a rumor there will be free dining DDP in Sept. More to follow. Watch the skys.

Trails End is a very good buffet, but it is hard to find good ribs you did not cook yourself.

Yea those spare ribs at Hoop-Dee-Doo are huge not much tender meat,

The last time we went, I thought it was pretty decent. I don't remember eating BBQ there, so that might tell you something. ;)

We did not have a ADR when we ate there, in fact, there was hardly anyone else there.

We enjoyed Trails End... Although I don't know if I would use a meal credit for it... If you have no other options use the credit... But Trails End is very cheap when you compare it to other meals in Disney.... You get a lot of food... It is not fancy and the food is good (not great)... We liked the variety and we did leave feeling very full.... We had ADR but we did not need them... The place was not full when we went.... DH had the ribs... He said they were pretty good...The fried chicken was very good...The dessert bar was a bit small and not very good... Overall a good meal but I would eat some where else if I was eating for "free".

love love love their ribs! Actually love everything there and the atmosphere is really fun especially if you have kids because they can be abit loud and loosen up some and it blends right in. the servers there are so great too. Highly recommend it. Then after dinner, grab a drink and sit on the porch in a rocking chair.

Best and lowest cost buffet thruout Disney!

It's been a few years since we've been to Trail's End, but I thought it was disgusting.

We ate at Trail's End for lunch in December. Made ADR's, glad we did. It was busy. They weren't using the full dining area though. It was our second time there, will go again. I agree with other posts, it's good, but for a dining credit splurge on something else.

We love Trail's End - have eaten there 3 times in the last year (we live locally)

Great value for good food and a fun atmosphere.

We're planning on going To Trail's End so that we can run over to the sing a long campfire and movies afterwards!
