Trails End Buffet

:wizard: We had breafast there in August 06 after reading all the great reviews about it. We were extrememly disappointed with the service. We got there about 10:00 am, so the breakfast rush was over. the food wasn't replenished the entire time we were there, so I can't really comment on the food because there wasn't much of it.

Wow . . . there is no excuse for that kind of service, especially from the hosts. Like most restaurants, we've experienced a wide variance in service
here as well; the visit before last, I waited for my hot tea, and finally just went to the service pod myself to get it, which got the attention of my server and the host.

The food might not have been replenished during your visit because your time frame was at the end of the breakfast serving hours - when we've gone earlier, the food was plentiful, hot and fresh.

We enjoyed our meal there VERY MUCH... The buffet is filled with a down-home selection of food... The food was very good... Our server was really nice.... We left very full of yummy foods!

we also loved it, our server was super nice and fun/friendly, we really liked the whole experience, ate breakfast and dinner there in Nov.

We had breakfast there and were STUFFED. It was so good. :thumbsup2

My boys and I (ages 19 and 14) had Christmas dinner at Trail's End last year. We really enjoyed the food!! Everything was delicious!! We will definately be going back on our next trip.

We always stay at FW--especially now that we just bought a tt, and we LOVE Trails End. We have 4 kids who can be quite picky, and it is one of their favorites. We usually wind up having a "light" snack the meal after we've eaten at TE, because we are so stuffed. It is down to earth, which we love, but I could see some people not liking that aspect. We have never had a problem with the food, or service. If you stay at FW, they tend to get to know you really fast at TE, and usually remember your likes and dislikes.:goodvibes

Best and lowest cost buffet in Disney.

I was just going to post this question, I made a ressie for Aug. it has the basic foods my boys will eat at a disney reasonable price. Is it a far walk to the Wilderness Lodge? We would like to check out the resort but did'nt really want to eat at the wcc. We are renting a car so we could drive over to the hotel. I assume we would go to the campground entrance to go the trails end buffet? Thanks, Linda :)

Best and lowest cost buffet in Disney.

The price is so much cheaper compared to other buffets and with not doing dining plan this year, this seems more up our alley than any other disney Buffets:thumbsup2

Thanks for more reassurance. Sounds like place for us.

Thanks to everyone else who have give their opinions. It really has helped seal the deal for us:goodvibes

Never had a bad meal at Trail's End! Both the breakfast and dinner were great!

We were very disappointed with the dinner buffet last year. They were very slow replenishing food and the place looked like a pig stye. We read the good reviews and thought what a perfect place to meet our friends--WRONG, we were so embarassed we ended up picking up the tab for everyone. Never again!!
