Trail's End Buffet-reviews please!

Thinking of trying this Resteraunt for Lunch next trip. How is it? Thanks!

Good, plentiful, comfort food at a very reasonable price. We prefer the dinner buffet to the lunch buffet-- but both are very good.

I agree - Good, plentiful comfort food, reasonably priced. We preferred breakfast & dinner, but enjoyed lunch as well. We haven't been in a few years, hoping it's still the same. Dinner has the same food as Hoop De Do. We'll be having dinner there in a couple weeks. I'll post reviews when we get home.

We've only been for breakfast a few times and LOVE it!! Best breakfast for the money on property. Food is good, fresh, down-home type cooking, service is great, and the atmosphere of FW is so relaxing. We always let the kids play on the playground for a bit before we head off on the boat to spend the day in the MK.

I'd like to try dinner sometime, but we're breakfast people, so I'd say that will be our main meal for that place!

For the price you can't go wrong. I had a pretty good dinner at Trail's End last year. It was an average meal. The food was good, but nothing special. I do plan on giving them another try because of the good price.

We've never done lunch but the dinner buffet was great in Nov. The corn off the cob tasted like someone just cut it off the cobb, really. And the fried chicken was awesome. Like someone said, great, downhome, comfort food all the way. AND, it's the cheapest buffet on Disney property.

Do you make a PS, or is it first come, first serve?

shh!!! don't tell too many people how great this place is, or i'll hafta start waiting for a table!!! this is a must do for us on every trip.

the salad bar/soup only lunch is like 10 bucks.

Can't wait to try this just before the campfire program in July - we plan to walk from WL and take the boat back. On previous visits to WDW, it was such a trek 'home' after the campfire so we're going to make the most of staying so close - Trails End might be worth more than one trip.

We love this buffet. Nothing fancy, just good, comfort food that is fresh and reasonably priced. Best deal on property. I love the cornbread, it is yummy. The atmosphere is also good and the CM's are attentive. It is a great place to go for an escape from the crowds. It has become a tradition for us to go on our last day.

HOW to get there? My Best Friend said we could possibly drive and park near there, and than gave some big long laborious way to get there, via, the Bus!

its soooooooooooo simple to get there.
1) get to the MK
2) take boat from MK to FW
3) at end of boat dock at FW stay walk straight.
4) at the fork, go towards the right (but not a hard right, you'll understand when you're there)
5) trails end will be on your right about 100 steps from the boat dock
6) if you hit the hoop de doo, back up 5 steps.
