I have an extra day to add an oop breakfast or brunch and i'm considering Trails end. So which is better? Or should I try somewhere else? I was also considering Ale and Compass or Garden Grove because we're staying at the Dolphin for this part of our trip, but we will have a car as well. Thanks for your help!

We have done the breakfast at Trail’s End and really enjoyed it. We hated Garden Grove. The day we went there were not a lot of items on the buffet and the food was not very good but was more expensive than any of the Disney buffets. This is not on your list but we love Boma at AKL.

Well the TE brunch includes some of the buffet dinner favorites like fried chicken. It may look strange to have mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, fried chicken, smoked salmon, pizza, all on my plate but it tasted oh so good on mine.

The brunch is maybe $2 more than the regular breakfast buffet (which is offered weekdays) and the brunch on weekends and during high attendance times (Christmas/New Years as example). I went on a Tuesday about January 3rd and they had the brunch out (which goes to like 2pm).

I like the brunch generally and think for what you get it's a good value. Like the other buffets, tax and drink are included in the price but please tip your server.

Thanks for the advice. I think we might go for the brunch, I’ve heard the fried chicken is quite tasty. @CynBeth we’re staying AKL for our main leg of the trip and we are definitely hitting Boma!
