We'll be staying in a FW Cabin mid-October (12-20) and while we will have various ADRs planned around the World and will also have some* stuff in the kitchen, we'll probably look to fill in a few meals at Trail's End during the week.

Are ADRs necessary? Recomended? A really good idea or a waste of time? Depends on the meal?

Any input and recent experiences would be welcome.

*note the emphasis on SOME - too much cooking and suddenly Momma's not on vacation any more!

Years ago, Trails End wasn't hardly known or popular....now thru these forums, seems ot has gained popularity....to the point in our last 3 trips, we've encountered tons of people waiting outside to be seated, and they had ADR's.....this was for dinner....breakfast I would guess about the same or less....it's off the beaten track for breakfast and then a park but to be safe....we make breakfast ADR for the day we want...luch is not that good so we don't bother......

Me, a friend and my brother in law went to Trails end for dinner back in february and we waited about 15 minutes (no more than that) without an ADR so it wasn't bad at all! The last time I went there before this last trip was quite some years ago and I must say that the food quality has gone up considerably!! I think you should be ok but do ADRs if you want just to be safe. And make sure you save room for the pulled pork and apple cobbler!

We stayed in the cabins last year and plan for this year as well. ADR's are the thing to do. During the entire stay, I never say the restaurant empty. People were always standing outside waiting to be seated. The food is good. The cobbler.... well.... :cool1:

It doesn't hurt to make ADRs, we did for our upcoming trip in April.
