I love the two Bourne movies he did but couldn't stand United 93. Hated it.

There are more important things in life than being entertained.

There are enough interesting, good, and important stories that can be told about the real Declaration of Independce - turning something that important into a childish, innane and trite treasure map shows a complete lack of artisitic ability. You can have plenty of fun but actually have something to going on behind the explosions as well.

My life is too important to waste on garbage that amounts to nothing but pretty lights on a screen. If that's how you want to spend your time - enjoy it. But I hope that Disney doesn't waste it limited resources on trivial fluff that is instantly forgotten. They have done much better things in the past and it's time they start doing so again.

Let the people just killing time waste it somewhere else.

There's a place in life for being entertained and for Art (a film, or book, or play, or whatever). It's all about balance. Some of my favorite films are B-grade (Bachelor Mother), and others are thoughtful & provocative (Schindler's List).

It's not that one is worse than the other, rather that a full life should have both.
