Trail Runners / Hiking Shoes Recommendations

Looking for any recommendations on trail running shoes or hiking shoes. Traveling to California to do some hiking next month and I'm hoping to burn a 20% off REI coupon on some nice shoes that will be comfortable and last. Any recommendations are welcome! Looking to go shopping this Sunday.

Love my Hokas. Have 3 pairs. Waterproof hikers and trail runners. Planning to hike into Grand Canyon with my speedgoats.

Get fitted, everyone's feet are different and what works for one may not work for someone else.

As the PP said, get fitted and try on several brands. Altras (Lone Peaks) if you handle a zero drop shoe, Topos (Trailventures), Hokas, or Brooks Cascadias. Altras and Topos have wider toe boxes than the others.
