Trail Rides

Hoping this is the right board

While planning for our upcoming Christmas trip to the world I mentioned that I was interested in trying to the trail rides offered at FW....well needless to say my DM is a little nervous How difficult are they for someone who has never ridden a horse before, especially if they are in their 40s or older? Any advice or previous experiences would be a big help!

It's totally geared for the absolute beginner. It might actually seem dull to a seasoned rider. It's really just for those who want a nice stroll through the woods (a pretty ride, actually!) on horseback. Nothing to worry about. Have a great time!

They also match up your horse with your ability level. All the horses are wonderful and very well behaved, but some have a little more "spunk" than others and beginners wouldn't ride those. This was the best run trail ride I have been on, you'll love it!
