We love and have always eaten at Whispering Canyon, but I was thinking of maybe going to Trail's End instead. I wanted to try something new, but I don't want to be disappointed. Any thoughts? Thanks. :confused3

dw and i thought the same thing....so we tried it for lunch...

it is a good bang for your buck. we enjoyed it. plenty to choose from, convenient to WL and after you are finished, you can walk around and enjoy the campground!! we are glad we tried it.... we will go back there during some future trip to try breakfast and dinner definately!! :goodvibes

I like both very much, they are very different dinning expirences. Trails End is a buffet with many "comfort foods", chilli, cornbread, fried chicken, potatoes, mac-n-cheese.....Whispering Canyons is a sit down meal that can be served in a family style skillet or people can order individual entrees off the menu. The servers at both are great but at Whispering Canyons it is their "job" to be "silly", things like wooden pony races, drink refills in buckets, and make sure you ask for ketchup and Pepsi :rotfl2: .
If you can mangae both go for it, it won't feel like the same meal twice.

Just looked up the Whispering Canyon. This place looks like a HOOT! We are staying at the contemporary, SO ...

How do I get from to CR to WL, Then from WL to FW (for the campfire & stuff)?

What time should I make my ADR for WC so that we will have time to get to FC for the campfire?:mickeyjum

Thanks as always-:goofy:

We love both places as well. I like the food better at Trials End but the servers are funny at WC. Trails End is a nice change in pace and the campground is nice.

Take one of the smaller boats that just goes between CR, WL and FW to get to WL. After your meal, you can then take the same boats over to FW. You will be in the Settlement, and if you walk down past where the HDDR plays, you can catch an internal bus that will take you to the Meadows where the campfire is. I would probably allow a half hour to get from WL to FW by boat and then get the bus to the Meadows. But, the great thing is, if you're late, it's okay...the campfire goes on throughout the movie.

After the campfire, you catch an internal bus back to the settlement, and then you can go back to the dock to get on the boat back to CR. Just make sure to find out the latest the boats run so you don't miss it.

Have fun!
