This is so sad. We always have so much hope, it's devastating to lose a person we love and care so much about.

My prayers are with this young man's family and also your son.

I recently saw a sign in front of a church that read:

Death is a very difficult thing to explain or understand, especially when we see so much pain and suffering. It becomes more difficult to understand or explain. May the Lord guide you through and give you the words to explain this death to your son.

Bless that poor family, what a huge amount of pain and suffering they are experiencing right now. Prayers for them and special prayers for the 10 year old.

{{{HUGS}}} to your dd and to you too, it's hard to see our babies in pain and I imagine your dd is in a lot of pain right now. I don't know what you can say to make her not feel guilty, I think that's a very human reaction to a situation like this. I'm sure her friend knew that she loved him.
