traffic?

Can anyone tell me what the travel time is like when driving to and from the Disney parks from the Marriot Village area? I've read a couple of comments on various threads about a lot of traffic in this area. This is the first time we have ever considered staying off property for a Disney vacation and I am just trying to find the best area to stay while also getting the best value. We are considering mid December. Thanks!

Early to mid December should not be bad. (Less than 20 minutes) Peak times though, such as Christmas week, spring break, etc., traffic can be horrendous and easily triple that time!
