Traffic stops for Parade!

Many of you driving thru International Drive, found some weird fruit looking Shamu. Well, if you wonder what in the world and why traffic was stop for a few minutes to get some juicy vehicles out of the way. That is the Orlando Citrus Parade's main floats. The Parade kicks off tomorrow Friday at 11:00 AM in Downtown Orlando. Expect to see Theme Park characters from Disney, Universal and Sea World. There will be some celebrities, like from the TV show "American Idol's" Constantine Maroulis and former Miss America, Erika Dunlap. The earlier you arrive, the better. About 60,000 are expected to see the Parade.

Thanks for this tip. We are driving into Orlando tomorrow afternoon and I'm wondering how this will affect traffic on I-4. Any idea how long the parade runs? We'll probably be arriving around between 1-2 p.m. which may be when the parade is breaking. Sounds like a big traffic mess to me.

The parade starts at 11:00 AM and would run until 1:00 PM. The traffic may be worse, not in Downtown Orlando, where the parade takes place. But is on I-Drive and the attractions area! Thousands of College Football fans to see Auburn at Capital One Bowl!
